Paper Submission
We accept papers authored by Young Researchers (students, PhD students and researchers up to 35 years old). Researchers over this age limit are allowed as co-authors provided that the report is presented by a young author.
Papers and slides must be written in English (see more requirements). Oral presentations are allowed to be done in Russian (if all participants are Russian-speaking).
We admit original papers of the following types:
- Regular papers (up to 12 pages)
presenting the accomplished research. Such papers do not have limits on co-authors except that at least one of the co-authors is a young researcher making the presentation at the colloquium. - Research-in-progress reports (up to 6 pages)
which should contain an abstract describing a problem of interest and particular goals of the research, a short description of related work with analysis of differences between the existing methods and the approach proposed by the author, a summary of results achieved and future work directions. - Industrial papers (up to 9 pages)
demonstrating novel or non-trivial applications of software engineering methods. Like regular papers, industrial papers should meet the requirement that at least one of the co-authors is a young person making the presentation at the colloquium.
Every paper regardless of its type will be reviewed by at least 3 members of the Program Committee and authors will get the reviews together with the notification of acceptance/rejection.
Publication
Selected papers are published in Proceedings of ISP RAS, a peer-reviewed journal included into the list of periodicals recommended for publishing doctoral research results by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation.
All issues are available online at CyberLeninka, the Russian scientific electronic library built on the Open Science paradigm. The project is aimed at distribution of knowledge using the Open Access model providing free-of-charge full-text access to electronic scientific publications.
